Prescott Motor Housing Thread
The Prescott motor housing thread was designed to accomplish two major goals, first, to eliminate backing off and secondly, to reduce stress concentration in the root area of the box connection. This was accomplished by creating a tapered thread profile with a large root radius allowing for maximum housing torque and excellent pin support.
