Best Hitter Mechanical

"Best Hitter" jar has three positive positions

  • Open - position of the jar, when hit up
  • Cocked - position of the jar, when ready to hit up or down
  • Closed - position of the jar, when hit down

Features

  • The jar is sent to the drilling rig in the cocked position.
  • It is preset to manufacturer's specifications and can be preset to the operator's requirements.
  • It can be used for drilling in tension or in compression.

Design Features

  • Heat treated and stress relieved aircraft quality SAE 4340 and 4140 steel
  • All external and internal box and pin connections are stress relieved
  • Hydrostatic pressure does not affect the Best Hitter Jar
