William J Myers
Mr. Myers, a board member since August 20, 2004, graduated from the University of Alberta with a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering in 1957 and proceeded to work with various oil and gas exploration and production companies in Canada, Alaska and California.
In 1966, Mr. Myers entered the drilling contracting business working with Gustavson Drilling and subsequently with Thomson Drilling. Mr. Myers initiated and developed Anderson-Myers Drilling Company, a drilling and well service company which he owned and operated out of Denver, Colorado from 1976 until 1985. In 1988, Mr. Myers was recruited by Pool Energy Services to the position of Group Vice President - Domestic Operations and responsible for all operations in the United States including offshore Gulf of Mexico, California and Alaska.
Mr. Myers held this position until his retirement in 1999. During his career, Mr. Myers has served on numerous boards including Bonus Resource Services Corp., Diamond Products International and Nowsco Well Services.
